We have toured for many years sharing songs, stories and simple movement in sessions specially created for people in care homes, nursing homes and residential homes across the UK

Sally and Brian currently tour North West England and Wales for Music in Hospitals and have been lead artists for Telford and Wrekin Council's Arts and Dementia project, they are regular visiting performers at The Redwoods Centre in Shrewsbury and Birmingham Cancer Centre.

We know that people with dementia can free up part of their troubled and frustrated minds when relaxed. Our programme of songs and stories, anecdotes and chat is designed to inspire, stimulate, soothe and entertain people. They can momentarily access memories, evocations and parts of their otherwise forgotten pasts.

Universal themes such as love and marriage, the world about us, childhood and the changing seasons of the year are gently explored in our songs and stories and the responses of the audience, no matter how slight, are welcomed in our sessions. This important aspect is valued by us because we learn so much from people whose life’s experiences are in danger of being lost and not valued.
